Probably Reading
2020
Probably Reading aims to explore a possible way to perceive letterforms and question how we construct meaning through language. Inspired by Cubism, this interactive book experiments with expanding the alphabet to a three-dimensional environment.

RATIONALE
Starting from the Korean artefact ‘Hunminjeongguem’- an initial Korean language system- this project questions how we perceive letter that is obsolete or illegible. Seeing the 'Hunminjeongguem’ as a square-moduled shape, the project evolved into a playful paper sculpture embracing the finite role of communication.
